"RYAN LARSON: So now for our B section, we start on our vi minor, and we'll walk for two measures. So we're going to start with vi minor as a root and then we start with ii minor as a root and we walk for two measures. And then we do our 2-5 which goes to this 1-6-2-5, and each of those only gets two beats so that will go by pretty quick. And we'll show you how to walk that standard jazz turnaround, which is called again a 1-6-2-5, where you go from the 1 chord to the 6 chord to the 2 to the 5. So now, we gotta start on 6 and walk eight measures, right? So I just stay in the scale: 2-2-5-1-6-2-5. Again, we'll start on the A and go slow: A-2-2-5-1 slide to 6 slide to 2 slide to 5. And what I'm doing with that sliding action is a chromatic approach where I use notes out of the scale to slide into the scale. And since it's a half step away it sounds good. So 3 or 1 and the 6 and the 2 and the 5 and the 1. So that's walking through the second half of "Mack the Knife" on the bass."
