"RYAN LARSON: ...and noticed there are five sharps which is the key of B major when you are reading through; you'll see it has 5 sharps on the sheet music so we go through B, C sharp starting at 1, B, C sharp, D sharp, E, F sharp, G sharp, A sharp, B. Again if you look at my fingers, we're doing the same frets, right? 2-4, 1-2-4, 1-3-4 but now we have B, C sharp, D sharp, E, F sharp, G sharp, A sharp, B. And you don't really have to memorize that as we go through and analyze those chords will be given to you, so you just have to really realize what note they are out of the scale. So if we have a D, we have to go B, C, D, that easy don't even worry about the sharps, or if we have to G right? B, C, D, E, F, G, there is your G right there. So G sharp but that's--it doesn't really matter right now, G sharp, A right is your 7, 1. So as we go through our tunes in B major, you'll be able to get the different chords that come out of that scale or that as you go through and read a lot of basic simple tunes."
