"RYAN LARSON: Now we're going to give you a visual look at the scale. We started right here on the 2nd fret and there is our B and we're going to go by frets here, 2nd fret and we're on the 3rd string right? Third from the bottom, here's our low note. We got 2nd fret, 4th fret, 1st fret, 2nd, 4th, then we have 1st, 3rd, 4th. If we go down we got 1st, 4th, 2nd, 1st, but this is our 1 right here and we go up and count 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-1, 1-7-6-5-4-3-2-1-7-6-5-4, so you have all the way down to 4 below 2 and we're going to through and you really want to write this pattern down, we're going to go through and show you in tab that you want to really get it under your fingers 3--or no 2-4-1-2-4-1-3-4 that's your B major scale on the bass."
