"So now we are going to take a look at G flat pentatonic. Pentatonic means 5 notes and there is 2 pentatonic notes that come out of G flat. The first one is very easy and it all the black notes starting here on G flat 1,2,3,4,5. So we have our note values 1,2,3, there is our 4, so we have 5 and 6. So you take out 4 and 7 and have 1,2,3,5,6 and it is very good nice melodic scale. I'm just going to do some nice simple effects major related chords. Just go through playing that scale and then we have our second pentatonic scale which starts on the 5th degree and you have 5,6,7 and then 2, and 3. So now we are adding the 7 and taking out the 1. This is great for making chords cause you avoid the root and the 4th. You see how you can just float around there. Now when I go back to my 1st pentatonic you can hear the difference you added. So we are going to go through and show you how to write those right now. "
