"Now we are going to show you how to find chords on the left hand it is a relatively simple process. First you want to hit your A flat to make sure you have the right note and then you match it up over here on the left hand. So you got the same note and the easiest way to tell A flat is it is a note that as a indent in it. If you can just zoom in enough you can see it has a little indent on it and you can feel it. The other one with the indent, the other one in the middle is a C but we want the A flat. Some accordions have a little button on it to but there is always something to let you know that A flat is and then basically you have A flat and then the row below is your chords so you have A flat major. A flat minor is your 2nd chord, then you have A flat 7th, A flat diminish and A flat half diminish. Then the 5th is right next to it so you can go root chord, 5th chord, and that is your basic polka. Root chord, 5th chord, root chord, 5th chord, minor, major. So that is how you find your basic root chords and 5th chords and we have our 5 chord to and then the 5 you just use the button right next to the A flat and you have all these chords again. So we are going to use 5,7 which is major, minor 7, the 3rd one down. So here is your 5 and then 1,5,1,5,1, and I use the major on the 1 and 7 on the 5. Now when you go through and play through books it would say major 7 or minor or diminish chords so you have to use the button that goes with the chord that you are playing. "
