"Hi! I am Ross on behalf of expertvillage.com, and this is my partner Cindy. For our first move, we are going to show you the underarm turn. First we go into close position. Now we won’t worry about the foot work yet. This is the guide hand. As I lift it up, it is going to indicate to her that something is going to happen. We are going to do a turn. Now with my rear hand on her shoulder, I am going to push through. This is the drive hand and she turns out. Let’s do that again. This is underarm turn. The guide hand comes up and I push through with my right hand; and now we will do it with the basic footwork. The footwork will be the same for all of these, either single or triple, slow-slow rock step, slow-slow rock step, slow-slow rock step, slow-slow rock step, slow-slow rock step and that is the underarm turn."
