"Now I am going to show you a little improvo of A major, so you've got your basic A major scale, your pattern. So now you are going to play some bebop techniques and just throw notes in between the scale as you run through it. Another cool thing is to use the 3rd in the tri-tone which makes your blue scale. Another cool scale is that hexatonic scale which is an A major triad and an A flat triad right next to each other. So it is this passed up whole step approach. Well there is some simple scale idea is to utilize in the key of A major. "
