"Now we are going to do the 5,7 chord in the key of A major which is E7. The reason that it is called the 7 chord because the 7th note in the chord right here, here's 7 and here's 1, is one step below as opposed to major where you hear this half step. You can hear that hear how it wants to go back to the 1. Now if you take the 2 which wants to lead into the 5 and that wants to lead into a 1 and you have one of the most simple and basic progressions that you use all over the world in a million compositions. So go through 12 keys and learn all your 2, 5's and you will have your first step done for going along for the musicians path."
