"So we are going to start with a pentatonic scale which is a 5 note scale. It is heard a lot in easter music and it is relatively simple scale. What it really does is it leaves out the 4th degree of the scale which if you remember is our void note in the major scale so we have 1,2,3,5, and 6 and that is our pentatonic A. Our pentatonic B it starts on the G or the 5 and you have 5,6, and 7 and then you have 2 and 3 also and that gives you all the nice notes with out the root and the 4 in there. The second pentatonic is especially good for making chords."
