"The next thing we're going to do, is we're going to import and resize a sample. Now, what I'm going to do is I'm going to grab a sample from my bin or my media browser. Once I have that sample chosen, I can then just drag it right into my arrange window just like that. Now, the one thing that I've got to make sure I have is an audio track when I drag in this file. Because I want it to be able to play. If I put over a software instrument, it still might show up. But, not in every case. So you want to make sure when you're dragging audio to make sure that you put it onto a audio track. When you're dragging midi information, you drag it onto a software instrument track. Now, this sample is not exactly the size that I want it to be. If I listen to the sample, it's one bar. So what I want to do is I want to highlight one bar and I can do two things right now. What I can do is, I can either find the tempo or I can resize it. What I'm going to do is resize it by going to audio and adjust region length to locater's. What it's going to do, it's going process this loop and it's going to bring it to one bar."
