When looking at your EQ there's different types of filters that you can use. Now, a high pass filter and a low pass filter are exactly what they say. A high pass filter allows the highs, the high frequencies to go, and it block out all the low frequencies, and the vice versa for the other one. So, when looking at your EQ, I'm going to reset it, and I'm going to apply a low pass frequency, which is cutting off all the highs by clicking here and adjusting this, and moving it. What I can also do, is affect the cue and the gain. What this will do is help me achieve a different sound as I do it. If I play the track, I can actually hear what I'm doing. I can also do it for the bass with the high pass frequency. A lot of DJs use this whenever they're, like mixing. This helps, like, achieve a different sound within a lot of drum moves and drum tracks.
