"The next thing I'm going to look at is a micro-phaser. What I'm going to do is I'm going to my modulation and look at my micro-phaser. Now when looking at my micro-phaser there's only three things that I can affect; the L.F.O. rate, the feedback and the intensity. So when I play my track I can experiment with different presets as well as change the actual parameters such as the L.F.O. rate. Another way of using this track is by adding it to a bus. I can actually take my track and bust it out to another auxiliary track and add this effect, this micro-phaser modulation into that auxiliary track. This is going to make my tracks sound really spacey and airy, and light. This is also going to make for a really subtle things in the background. A lot of people like to take drum moves and put them in these micro-phasers, and lightly add a type of wet; airy, softer thing that kind of sets the drum loop in the back of the mix."
