"The next plugin is a directional mixer. Now, to find a directional mixer the first thing we have to do is look within our imaging. So we're going to go into inserts and we'll get imaging directional mixer. Now, once I have the directional mixer out I'm going to take it and move it to my center. And look at the spread. When I play this track, I have to change the spread of how wide it is. From the center to wider. I can also change the direction in which it's going. This is very useful in making a track. This is going to help you change the position of certain instruments, so not everything sounds so muddy and in the center. Like, when you have a bunch of different instruments lined up together. If you have them all in front of each other, what's going to happen is that you're not going to be able to hear the one's that are in back from the one's that are in front. So what you want to do is you want to apply space between the sounds to show the sound coming from different positions on the panning surface."
