Once you've mastered the toe heel turn, you can move on to the flap heel turn. The flap heel turn is going to start with the flap brushing out the flat part of the foot, landing on the ball of the foot, drop the heel, and then switch feet. All while you're turning around in a circle. When you're doing a flap heel turn, you want to make very sure that you're flapping on a straight line the entire time. It helps to focus on one space, or to spot, while you're doing the turn, and that will help you stay in a straight line and avoid getting dizzy. You're going to lift your right foot, open your arms. Flap, heel, turn. Flap, heel, turn. Now I'm going to do a flap heel turn a little bit faster.
