"On behalf of Expert Village, I'm Reno McCormick and I'm here to tell you about playing the Dobro today. So anywhere we want a harmonic, we put our barre, we figure out where our halfway point is, at C, you would know that its right here where C would be here, see? So we have our C. We put our finger right here. That gives us that high harmonic, which, in Hawaiian music it sounds wonderful, and backup Dobro it sounds wonderful. We were doing harmonics and slides all together. When they get that high you can't really hear them, so, it's hard to find that center point too. So, stay away from those. Past the fifteenth fret, stay away from it. With a little practice, you learn where your hand has to be. You don't look where your palm is, you look where your thumb is and that automatically puts your flesh where you need to have it."
