"Rhett Reiger from White Caspian Studios on behalf of Expert Village. We're talking about birds-eye view storyboarding. This is where we're going to show the camera, like this, this is a camera. And we're going to be filming, say an actor coming from this side of the screen. He starts a point X, and he's walking to point Y. So this would be a pan shot of that character. This is a very simple way of showing crew and of course actors and other production people, what is actually trying to be accomplished in the scene. It saves time to explain it verbally, which very often people get confused. So storyboarding in general saves time and it saves money. It's a small step but it saves so much in terms of money and that's very important in an independent shoot."
