"Hi, my name is Paul Becker and I'm here to talk to you about accordions today on behalf of Expert Village. This a jump of accordion to the 1930s and you would see many accordions like this from the 1930s, these are called square boxes. They would often have 3 or 4 reed sets on the treble and as you can see there was a lot of love decoratively speaking on this one, it is not totally accidental. When I saw this on eBay with Paul I just had to have it and so this is getting to be, this is a 60 year old accordion, it is really quiet playable, it didn't need to be restored. There has been worked on it before I got it, so here is what is sounds like. And while we have this accordion out I want to illustrate to you registers. So what I did here is I hit a switch that took the bass notes or the bass reed block that we saw earlier they are not longer couple to the air there is just a barrier that goes in front of the holes so you are just playing just high. So now you are seeing a nice 1930s square box and you seen how the register works on the accordion. "
