"Hi, my name is Paul Becker and I'm here to talk to you about accordions today on behalf of Expert Village. This section would show how the accordion produces sound or music. The accordion in the picture is a classic instrument it is called a free reed instrument. So here is an example of a bass reed actually there is 2 here the reed is this metal piece and there is 2 of them on each plate; one for playing on each direction with the bellows going in and out. These reeds are mounted in a reed block and so the accordion makes the sound by the bellows but here I would show what it does and as you probably can hear the accordion reeds pretty much sound like harmonica reeds in fact harmonica reeds looks just like these accordion reeds.
