"On behalf of expertvillage.com, my name is Paul Louis and today I am going to give you musical theatre audition tips. Preparation is essential before you go and audition for a musical theatre show. Basically what you want to do is before you go to that show, you want to get up in the mornings and you want to prepare. You want to do vocal warm-ups; you want to do that musical theatre audition piece over and over again without straining your voice of course. You want to go over and over again so that you are happy about it. Have some family members, some friends and audition for them. Do a little mock audition before you go to the real audition. You got to prepare yourself. You don’t want to just crawl out of bed and go right to the audition and be all flustered and not prepared so you want to have a good warm-up and preparation leading up to that audition; it is essential.
