" On behalf of expertvillage.com my name is Paul Louis from Puppets and Stuff Puppets and I like to welcome you on how to start you very own puppet company. Okay lets talk a little bit about the stage that you would need for your puppet shows. I have taken a liberty of drawing a little diagram here and I hope that the camera picks it up okay but, this is kind of the design that I use when I started my puppet company and if you give a design like this or your own design any skill carpenter I'm sure they do justice to your design but, basically as you could see over here we have a front view and a side view. The front view consist of in front here you could see these are curtains that are wrapped around the frame of the stage and these are your two puppets here. Now the black behind the puppet represents either a black curtain or a maybe sentry that you painted on a little scene board and it is hung up by basically brackets up here. Down here these represent two little speaks that you could put on each side of the stage so that your sound could come out if you are using prerecorded sound. Alright over here this is the side view. Now if you have a x ray and you want to see how you operate the puppets inside the stage that is basically what we will be doing. As you can see you are sitting comfortably on a seat there. Your deck to control the music is inside the stage so you could actually control the sound while you are doing a puppet show. You could actually stand behind the stage and make your puppets stick out this way if you want to stand. Make sure you have a puppet stage wide enough to accommodate the amount of puppeteers that you have in your company. If it is just one and you know that it is always going to be one puppeteer than you know it doesn't have to be a very wide stage but, if it is more than one puppeteer make sure it is wide enough to accommodate all those puppeteers. We will be right back."
