"So another important rule is to edit according to the lights and color. What does it mean? It means that let's suppose that I video tape somebody in the night and then the same idea that is in half of these shootings was video taped in the day time. Would it be okay to edit it together? It would look very strange and contrasted. Of course contrasting editing could be also used, but then it has to have a special meaning. Lets suppose that we have very contrasting images. One is in the night, one is in the morning, one is dark, the other is let's suppose, a completely different color blue. If it doesn't bring as the meaning of the story there is no significant meaning to this we could change in the editing."
