The first jazz movement that we're going to work on in section three, which is jazz steps and progression is chasse side. The first thing is that chasse means to slide. Our feet are in parallel position. We're going to demi plie. We chasse side, the right foot is going to travel first to the side, and the left foot will travel. Five, six, seven, and chasse, chasse. This is a chasse, you're sliding. Chasse, chasse, we'll do that again. And chasse, chasse, one more time, and chasse, chasse. So chasse moves one, two and three, four. We're going to add a ball change step to that. The ball change is, you take your right foot, we're up on the ball of the foot. See how my foot is up? And your left foot is down and you're in a demi plie. You stay in demi plie, ball change. You stay down, ball change, again, ball change, ball change. Let's do that on the left side. Back foot is up, you're in a demi plie, ball change. The back foot moves first, ball change, ball change, ball change. Now we're going to take those two steps and put them together. Chasse two and ball change, chasse two, ball change. Chasse two, ball change, chasse two, three and four.
