"Demi plies and releves done in parallel first position and parallel second position. Take note of the feet. Parallel first both feet are together your knees are straight ahead and your feet are straight ahead also. From here, our arms, our legs are straight. The arms are going to port de bras forward, you bend the knees, one, two. You bring the arms down, the legs stretch three and four. Again, one, two, demi plies and stretch three and four. From here we're going to rise up to the releve. Now, your heels come off the floor, the legs are straight, the head is in alignment. We're going to open the arms to second, one, two. We're going to bring it down three, demi plies on four. Again, tandoux, now we're going to stretch the leg out to the side in a parallel position. We place our feet, it's shoulder with the part, second position and demi plies. Bend one, two and three and four. Again, demi plies, five, six and stretch seven and eight, arms port de bras, one, two, three. Straighten in the knees, making sure everything is in alignment and arms open, one, two, to second, they come down demi plies, five, six, tandoux, the foot back out and bring it back to first position and hold."
