"Now this right here is traditionally known as an AC adapter. These you would need for your pedal board, or rather any pedal to alleviate the need for a battery. Now this right here is a DC plug. You'll notice that it's kind of like a plug, but it's also got a hole that goes all the way down the center of it, so it's hollow inside here. This is the end that you would plug into your pedal. This would just go into any wall jack, any AC plug. Now let's take a look at how you would use those two parts with your pedals. At the top here is the female end. On the pedal there is an area where you can take this and plug it right in, and then you would take this end and plug this into the wall. A difference would be that you would need a battery in here. We'll take a look at that in a minute. But this will save you lots of time and lots of money as far as buying new batteries."
