"In this clip I am going to discuss RCA cables. RCA cables are a little bit different than an instrument cable. You wouldn't use this for an instrument. You would use this more for recording. If you are recording your guitar and you had a four track or a twelve track that you wanted to plug in and patch to something else. This is what you would use. Now you will notice that on the ends of these guys they are much smaller and you will notice that there is just one post where the XLR cable had three. Or the quarter inch cable was just a post. There is a little cone in there with a post coming out of it. Now this particular cable also has an eighth inch on the other end. Usually an RCA cable will have the same pair on both sides. This is an eighth inch cable because of the size of the post. You notice that the quarter inch is roughly twice as big."
