" For Expert Village this is Mitch Kaplan. In this clip we will be talking about minor seven chords. The minor seven chord is very similar to the major seven chord, but it has a sadder sound. It is built up of the root. You lower the third a half step so instead of an E natural it becomes E flat. So we have these two together and then you have the fifth, which is the G and then you have the lowered seventh and now you have your minor seven. "
