In this clip, we're going to do the last step of Shomo Putha Chari, jumping steps. In this step, we're going to hop. But as we hop, we're going to turn to the side. So you kind of, hop to the diagonal and your body is going to trail the direction of your feet. In Manipuri dance, it's very important to remember that the feet are what is deciding your direction. And the body is always going to be following, where the feet go. So it's almost like a improvisation on top of this very specific direction that is happening in your feet. So, as the foot jumps the diagonal, the body bends to this side. As the foot steps, the body is curving over to the other side. Just as the body finally gets there, you jump back on the other side. So the feet are leading the body, in that way. So, the hands of course, make this windshield, again. So, we're going to go, hop together. Hop back together. Hop together. Hop back together.
