"Hi my name is Omri and today we are going to find the Middle C on the piano. So we started off by saying that each one of the white keys has a different letter name and they start with A, B, C all the way up to G. And then repeat A through G A through G. Now the pattern with the white keys relative to the black keys keeps repeating every eight notes looks the same. So if I can find one C I should be able to find them all. As we look here at the very first C which is easy to find, we see that it is just to the left of this two group of black keys. There is a two group and a three group and that helps us visually identify the white keys that we are looking for. If I fast forward a few Octaves to the middle of the keyboard I find the two group of black keys and just to the left of it I see what we call middle C. When we start playing the Piano a lot of the pieces that we play are in the key of C. So you want to be able to find C reliably. Whenever you see the two group of black notes just to the left of it is C and the one that is in the middle of the keyboard it’s not exactly the middle note of the keyboard but it is the middle area, usually right underneath the brand name of the piano you should be able to see there Middle C.
