"PAT LOUIS: On behalf Expert Village, I'm Pat Louis in Miami, Florida. And today, I'm going to show you some basic drum rhythms. Now, the next best part of drum set of course are the tom-toms because they give you a variety of sound as you're going through your song, because occasionally, you're going to want to do a fill or two and that's where your tom-toms come in. So if you're doing a fill with your tom-toms, it will sound something like this. And you're right back on one, two, three, four. Same thing with if you're doing a swing song. The drums, the tom-toms are good for fills. What you want to do is make sure that you're rolling, it's always kinda end up with a little slap at the end. These are excellent at the end of the songs. And I always like to use the bass - the floor tom-tom for the end of each song."
