"So now you've learned how to breathe; diaphragm breathing. And you've learned that you must stretch before you start. No we must warm up our muscles before we start to dance. We're going to start with this basic warm up. You're going to bend your knees and you're going to move your hips. The movement is like you're going to bend this knee and lift this hip up and you're going to do the same movement on the other side. And you're going to do this faster so, you're going to warm up your hips. Another way to warm up you hips is to do the figure 8 movement. You're going to make the shape of an eight. Your hips move up. Right-front; left- back. Left- front; right- back. To the side a little bit. Front. Back. Side. Front. Back. Side. Front. Back. Side. Front...and you?re going to be doing this figure 8 movement, ok. Back. Side. Front. Back. Side. Front. Back. Side. Front. Back. Side. Front. Back. Side. Front. And you can alternate with the bicycle hips. And this is how you warm up your hips for belly dancing."
