" Hi everybody, Malik the magic guy with expertvillage.com. Now the fun stuff. I’m going to build on some stuff I showed you already, holding the deck, the undercut, and I’m going to show you how to do your first sneaky thing. This is actually a false cut; it’ll keep the cards in exactly the same order. Let me show you what it looks like first, and I’ll teach you how to do it. We take the cards; we cut them to the table, and the deck is in exactly the same order it was in when we started: see here’s the top card the king of spades, bottom card is the 4 hearts. We do the cut, the king of spades is still on top and the 4 hearts are still on the bottom. So let me show you how that works…what we’re going to do is undercut just like we did before, and basically we’re just going to put this half back on the bottom and put this half back on the top, but if we do it that way it’s not going to look that great, so we want to add a little bit of smoke and mirrors to it. We’re going to undercut, we’re going to bring this half around and I’m going to tap it on the top of the deck, kind of like I’m evening or squaring the cards, then I’m going to put it down, I’m going to cut back grab this half and put it right back on top like that. So from this side tap, put it down just like that it sorts of creates an optical illusion, you do it up the speed, it looks like that and that looks like a pretty convincing cut and the cards are in exactly the same order they were in when we started. I’ll show you one more time…the queen, the ace and the queen and the ace, so that’s an example of the undercut false cut. I’ll show you one more time from this side…tap here, put down, put this right back on top, all you’re basically doing is putting the bottom back on the bottom and the top back on the top."
