" Hi! Malik the magic guy with expertvillage.com. Now I’m going to show you more on the riffle shuffle, and this is going to be the riffle shuffle on the table if you’re just going to start with the cards on the table. What you’re going to do is cut about half the cards to one side just like this, it can be to the right or to the left, depending on which hand you’re using, and then you’re going to grip the cards along the long edges with your three fingers on this side, your thumb’s on this side. And using your thumb you’re just going to gently let the cards weave together by the corners. I’m going to do that for you one more time. I’m going to cut the cards just like this, fingers along the long edge, first finger’s on the ends, thumbs here and gently let the cards just weave together. If you’re going to be doing the riffle shuffle on the table it’s easier to do it from the corners of the cards, not from the ends like we did with the table. You just want to let those and then you can push those together just like that, so practicing how to do a riffle shuffle will be important later on, especially if you want to learn how to do some gambling type of card magic, so that’s the riffle shuffle."
