" Hi everybody! Malik the magic guy with expertvillage.com, more on shuffling cards. This is called the Hindu shuffle; this is another basic way of shuffling cards it’s going to be really important as you learn more card magic later on. Now the way you start the Hindu shuffle is you hold the deck toward the end by the long edges with your thumb and middle finger, and what you’re going to do is take the thumb and middle finger from the other hand and pull small packets off the top of the deck and drop them into your hand like this, and you’re going to keep doing that just like this. Now as with the overhand shuffle there’s going to be ways you can use this later on to control the positions of the cards, but that’s what the Hindu shuffle looks like, it’s pulling short sections off the top just like this letting them fall onto your hand. I’ll show you from the sides so you can see the Hindu shuffle from this side and from the ends it’ll look like this, it’s pulling off and dropping sections of the cards and that’s how you do the Hindu shuffle."
