Now we have our strings on the guitar, and when it comes to tightening them, you just want to do 6, 1, 2, 5, 3, 4. This way it keeps the tension sort of spread out evenly on to the guitar. But we're not worrying about having things in tune right now. Again, I just took my speed tuner and you just wind it up so that the string is coiling down beneath the hole where you stuck the string in, and now that we're at that stage I just simply want to take my speed tuner and kind of give it about one and a half turns per thing just to get a little bit of tension. At this stage it doesn't matter because you're going to be so fast on it anyway, you just kind of want to give it a little bit of tension on the guitar and just go around. The reason for that order is that when you're putting the strings on the guitar, you're going to have some time before you get tension in the neck spot, so you just want to kind of keep it even when you're putting the strings on. But after this point it doesn't matter the order in which you do things. And that's tightening the strings up.
