"What's up everyone? I'm DJ PieceMeal and your watching Expert Village. When cuing up the record most DJs will either start from the one or the two. The one is going to be the kick on every record and the two is going to be the snare. So when starting from the one remember that's the kick drum of the beat. So, we'll start it up. That was one right there. Right when you the very first thing that you hear, that's one and if you remember the number two is going to be the snare. So one, two. That's number two right there. That's the snare. So your either going to want to match up on the one or the two, right there. So, now let's talk about mixing the records together and getting that nice fluid sound. So, when we're at a show this is what essentially the audience would be hearing. So, there going to be hearing this beat but what they don't know is on my side, on the left channel, what I'm doing is I'm cuing up on that one count that we were talking about earlier, the kick count. So that's what I'm doing on the left side and all the while the audience is hearing this. I'm just tuning up to get to the one so that I can match it on that one count and put it together perfectly."
