Cut Rope in Half Magic Trick Performed

"Alright everybody, here it is the one that you have been waiting for, the cut and restored rope. I am going to show you one of my favorite versions, this is out of the Klutz Book of Magic, an excellent, excellent book on magic. Look it up, find it, forget about Harry Potter go get yourself the Klutz book, it is good stuff. We are going to take the rope and we are going to tie into a loop. I am going to make a knot right here just like that. Then I am going to take my trustee scissors, we are going to cut the loop right there. Now, this gives us 2 pieces of rope tied together, but if I take the rope and I wrap it around my hand and give it a little wave with the scissors and put the scissors away, then magically the rope has restored itself into one piece. That is the cut stored rope."
