"Hi everybody, let's do the double 3 to 1 ropes that we did with the audience volunteer. Now, this is the set of 3 to 1 ropes from the single version set up with the loops just like I showed you before, so you can watch that to see how to set this up. Then what we are going to do is take 3 regular lengths of rope and just tie them together at the ends so they look just like my tricky set over here. So we are just going to tie those together like that and then we are going to come over here and tie these ends together like this. Now, for your purposes it may help you if you are going to do this on stage with one of the ropes, I end up doing this a lot like a living room trick so I use shorter ropes for this. You are going to have your volunteer come over and what you are going to do is they are going to point to a set of ropes, now he pointed to this one I let him have it. If he pointed to this one I would of taken this one. Basically you are giving them the normal rope. So what you are going to do the 3 to 1 ropes just like in the explanation. So you untie it, you let one drop you tie these two ends together. They are going to do the same thing, they are doing this along with you, they are untying it, they are letting one drop, they are tying the ends together. You want to be patient with , if you are getting help from your audience you want to be patient with them because they may not be as good as handling rope as you are. They are going to let one drop, they are going to tie these ends together. Now, I like to do this trick in a way that makes the audience member look like a hero. So we are each going to roll our ropes around our hand. I am going to steal my knots off just like I did before. If I have a chance I am going to ditch them in my pocket. He is going to roll his rope up and we are going to switch and I am going to take his and he is going to take mine and we are going to do whatever magic we want to do. His is going to be restored, mine isn't and I am going to say, wow I guess you are the magician this time. If you are doing some tricks for some kids this is a great trick to do to make a kid feel like a hero. So have fun with the double 3 to 1 ropes."
