"Hi I'm Mario Amaya and on behalf of Expert Village in this segment I'm going to talk to you some more about Rasgueados in flamenco guitar playing. Rasgueado are the strumming that we do with the right hand and it's a very important technique in flamenco it is one of the things that really most characterizes flamenco. It is through rhythmic and exciting and it is what we use to play chords especially when we are accompanying dancers and singers. (playing) That is a example of using Rasgueado There is many different types of Rasgueado this 4 finger or this 3 finger, 1 finger, 2 finger and this one that is called avinico which means fan in Spanish it is kind of like a 3 propeller fan(playing). In the following segment I will talk about each of thee Rasgueado techniques for flamenco guitar playing individually "
