" I am Matt Bodi with Up All Night Productions located in Miami, Florida. You can find us online at www.upallnightpro.com. Here we have the Digidesign 002 rack. This is a digital to analog converter and also analog to digital, it goes both ways. What this does is this converts sound, which is a natural wave form into a digital format. Somewhat difficult to understand, but if you can imagine the microphone, the actual voice, singing, we need to get that into a digital format that we can then edit, so this serves our purpose right here. This has eight inputs, four microphone inputs, and then four line inputs, and it’s a very great piece of equipment. Every studio needs something like this, you don’t necessarily need this specific model but you need a digital to analog converter in order to get your audio into your computer. Now once it is in the computer, you have the software. We use Pro Tools and its great software because it gives you an option to record many tracks."
