"MATT CAIL: Hello. I'm Matt Cail and, on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you today how to organize and set up and tame your own art studio. There's nothing more frustrating than being in the work of a great, wonderful masterpiece and then, all of a sudden, you run out of paint in your brush, you want a different brush, you need some more media, you need some supplies to continue with your work and you don't have 'em. You're looking around. Where are they? You don't have them because, no matter how well your organization has been, you've actually placed your art cabinet maybe forty feet away from where your art easel is. That's something else to think about--making sure you keep your supplies very, very close at hand. This is going to save you a lot of effort. This is--I mean, artistic flow is all about keep it going, keep that paint going on the canvass, keep that pencil going on the paper, keep that glue going over your paper mache, I don't care. Stopping and starting, stopping and starting is not good for this train of thought, so have your art supplies close at hand when you're setting up to get ready to go. Have an art cabinet close to your easel or your table, so make sure that while I--oh, I want another brush; I have it. I need some more paint; it's right here."
