"MATT GRAHAM: Okay. So I'm going to open my string packet. And when you open most sets of strings, they'll either be in these little paper packages. This company puts two strings in each package. Some companies will have a package for each string, and others will just have the little beads on the ends of the strings color-coded and they'll all be in one package. So I'm going to start with the low E string. So I'm going to open its package and just be careful when these things come unwound because you don't take a string to the eyeball or anything like that. And the first step is going to be finding the bead end of the string, pulling out the bridge pin for that string, and then you'll put it right next to the hole and then just allow the bridge pin to force it in. And basically what the bridge pin does is it sits against the string and holds that bead inside the hole and creates friction to secure the string. So as you push down with the bridge pin, pull up on the string so that it locks into place. So now the string is secure in the bridge."
