"MATT GRAHAM: Now at this point, it's important to note that if you're changing the strings on this style of guitar and there's several other companies that build guitars in this different style where instead of the strings actually going through the body, they just go through the bridge. And this particular guitar has a little bridge with the saddle where all the strings come across and then they come in to this tailpiece. It's anchored on these two bolts and then the strings fit through that tailpiece and you insert them this direction through the tailpiece and the tailpiece itself narrows in such a way that it catches the beaded ball end of the strings. And if you look in there, those strings are actually made by that company I was talking about that color-codes their strings on the bead end depending on what string it is. So again, just say you're changing the strings on this style of electric guitar, instead of having to go through the back of the guitar, as you see there are no holes right here to go through, you'll actually go through the bridge and back up to the headstock."
