"There is a couple of different views that you can use to edit your midi on if you double click on your midi like I showed you earlier it is going to bring up your key view. I'm going to get out of that but also there is a couple of other ways to view like I said. If you go up to midi and click open score editor that is going to bring up this view and that is going to show you the actual notes that are being played. This is the actual score you can actually print that out and use it as sheet music if you like. Another view which is good for drums (I'm going to click my drum track there) and go up to midi and click open drum editor and it would actually tell on the left instead of having keys it will tell the name of the instruments. I got close high hat, peddle high hat, base drum and that would show you the actual drum notes instead of actual key notes and with this there is a drum stick tool up here, you can click and just drag across so it reads your beat there. I'm going to undo that and you can change the quantitative up here to different measures and do the same things. So as you can see that could be very helpful when you are creating drum beats or editing drum beats. The last view I'm going to show you is called you can just edit the actual midi in place if you go up to midi and click edit in place. You can see your track is still over here to the left. You still got your inspector to the left but you got your keys, you got your automation at the bottom and you got your notes and if you can go ahead and play that and you got everything you need right in here in your main track. So you can edit without actually leaving track view. As you can see key cubase is a very powerful program, it is a very complicated program, there is a whole more lot to it that we have not have time to touch on but I hope that I've helped you out in learning cubase in happy, happy music making."
