"Hey everybody my name is Matt and I'm speaking to you on behalf of Expert Village. Now I'm going to teach you about what is called the transport and this is this device right here. You can click it and drag it around but basically it controls a lot of different things in cubase. You should be similar with this dialog right here you got the play button, you can stop the audio, you can these buttons quickly stop between markers, you got your fast forward and rewind buttons. Of course the record button which what we would get into a little later. To the left over here you can use these knobs to jog and shuttle through your music. I have showed you in the last tutorial how to the marker buttons work right here that is the main volume button that controls the volume for all of your tracks. Over to the left here it will give you some information about your locater which is this up here you can click and drag that and it will show you what happens over here. Or you can manually input where you want the beginning and end of the locater to show up at. We would get into that in a little bit later to teach you about looping. Over here you got some different things you can control that has to do with midi, you can change the track of the tempo, you are going to have to change that to fix in order to adjust the tempo. You are going to turn the clicks on and off which is basically a metronome you can turn the precount on and off. There is a lot of other different things going on here in the transport which we would get into a little bit later hopefully."
