"Once you're able to find the notes on the page and you're going to need to find them again on the keyboard, and if you have one of your fingering charts, it's probably the best way to follow along and learn them. But now, what I'm going to do is I'm going to show you how to find them actually on the keyboard. So, if I turn over here and I look at the keyboard again, if we find middle C, we'll find the two black notes. I go to the one just to the left of that, here this is middle C. This is the basic alphabet for what we want to cover now that we know what the notes are. Okay. The note that we start with again, middle C. Okay? This here is D. This is E. This is F. This is G, A, B, C. Okay? So that's your basic alphabet to start and you actually start on C, which is kind of strange, I know, because if you're talking about the alphabet because you want to start on A, but this is the alphabet that we use for the piano. Again, one more time, we've got C, D, E, F, G, A, B, and then back to C again. And then, from there these notes again, we've started completely over and, as you go up, you just keep starting over and over and those will continue on."
