Video Transcript

"Hi guys, we're learning how to play some improv games today. And now, Danby and I are going to show you how to play a game called Alphabet. To play Alphabet, which is a common game and you've probably seen it before, you're going to get two or three players to improvise a scene, each sentence starting with the next sequential letter of the alphabet. To make things easy for the sake of explanation, Dan and I are just going to start with the letter A. The next line is going to start with B, C, D, so forth. Let's go ahead and get a suggestion from the audience, a location suggestion. Let's say we are in a bookstore. So, Dan, this scene takes place in a bookstore. About this book, I just don't think it's right for you. But this is exactly the book I want; it's going to answer all my questions. Can't you see that that is just a book that just doesn't speak to you? Oh, don't tell me what speaks to me; I can make my own decisions. Even if that were true, I still, as the bookseller, think that you shouldn't have that book. Fine, we'll I'll by the Koran when you're not here. Great, you can come back in. And that just my opinion and I have to stand by it and say no to you buying that. And that's how you play Alphabet. It was H. Yeah, thanks."
