"Hi, today we're showing you guys how to do improve warm-ups, and now we're going to show you how to play a game called Greetings. To play the game Greetings, you need to designate one person of your team to become the caller, while the rest of your team takes a spot on the stage. Your team is then going to mill about the stage, not interacting with each other, maybe making eye contact, but keeping verbal communication at a minimum. The caller is then going to shout out different ways to greet each other and players, whenever they make eye contact or become within proximity, are going to greet each other in that fashion. Some examples of popular greetings could be, greet each other like you're an ex-lover, greet each other like you're old high school friends, greet each other like you're enemies, and greet each other like you are two cave trolls. So we're just going to do some examples here. I'm going to go ahead and call out the greetings and you can watch Daniel and I greet each other, obviously we're not going to mill around too far, but I think you guys will get the hang of it once you watch it. All right Daniel; let's greet each other like we are parachute jumpers. Daniel: Hey- Matthew: Hey! Daniel: What's going on? Matthew: How are you doing, man? Daniel: I'm doing great! Matthew: Are you ready to go? Daniel: I'm always ready to go! Matthew: Let's do it! Both: Whoo! Daniel: Make sure it's all in there. Ha-ha. Matthew: It is, it is, probably. Now we're going to greet each other like we are hula hoop dancers. Daniel: Hi. Matthew: Hey, how have you been? Daniel: Oh, I've been fantastic, I'm up to three sixty-two. Matthew: Well, well, it works well on you. Daniel: I lost count. Matthew: Yeah. Daniel: Three seventy? Oh I don't remember. Matthew: Oh, I stopped counting years ago. That's pretty much how you play Greetings. The more creative the different greetings you can come up with, or the situations to put these characters in, the more fun you're going to have and the more it's going to push your, your performers. So, that's how you play Greetings. I hope you guys enjoy it."
