Because that's where, if we're building it with the lower three strings, we need to find G on the A string. So, major. Up a whole step, minor. Up a whole step, minor. Up a half step, major. That's our C major. I'm going to play that down here. Up a whole step again, major. Up a whole step again, minor. Up a whole step again, into diminished. Then back to one where we started, Okay? This time I'm going to do the cross picking pattern for you and I'll start on the lower string. (Audio demo)"
