"Hello. My name is Geoffrey M. Sadowski. I'm a magician. My stage name is Lord Geoffrey M. Sadowski, Chancellor of Magic. I'm here on behalf of Expert Village to show you a little bit of magic and let you know what basically, what goes into routining a show. Some of the things that you'll need, and some of the tools that you need. There's always going to be a niche for entertaining. There's always going to be a niche for people that just want to be dazzled, be fooled, to enjoy things. And this magic is one thing that I've been doing since I was nine. When I first started out in magic, I used to have a very strong English accent, because we came from England. And that was sort of my little thing that was different from the other magician's performing, was I had a little bit of an English accent. Which made me a little bit different, like I said. So it was like not the other children doing that, they said oh it's a little, young blond haired little English boy doing magic. So I played that up. "

on 2/10/2009 Please, please, please explain to me Good Chancellor how any of this has anything to do with finding your Niche in magic.
I don’t want to get bedazzled or sequenced no other shiny buttons or bobbles on my costume either. Look finding your niche in magic has to do with learning what your performing style is. That is accomplished through learning the art from the ground up and then applying it to your personality. Are you the type of performer who does great slight of hand but has a hard time speaking in front of people: or are you the life of the party guy who has never met a stranger these are the type of things you need to learn prior to developing your niche in magic. Some of the best magicians today are the ones that the lay audience has never heard of because the work that they do is for magicians that may be a niche that a performer carves for himself.
If I may be so bold as to say that you need to go to expert village and type in how to write a script for an instructional video because you may learn that it is not about you but about the audience. Good luck Mr. Chancellor I will be watching and commenting.
