"Alright everybody, let me show you the basic card cutting trick. If we have a card selected. There's the 7 of diamonds. In this case, I did the fan reversal by closing it like that. You can have them returned it to a spread, you can fan the cards again and have them put it back in like that. Close that up. I did do a couple of Hindu shuffles just to keep it mixed up, and the all I did was reach over. If you grip real lightly like we talked about on the card cutting section, you'll be able to cut right to their selected card. Now, you can take it out, have them put it back in again. Later on I'm going to talk to you about shuffling. You can have somebody else give the deck a shuffle. Cut to the card again. Now, in the performance, there was one time that I cut to a card and it wasn't right. What happen there was I gripped a little too hard and picked up some extra cards. I wanted to leave it in there so you can see that that does happen. The trick is light grip and then you'll be able to cut right to the card. Let's do a quick review one more time. Card is selected. Let's return to the deck. You can give it a couple cuts this way if you want, and then we'll just reach over and cut right to the selected card just like that. That's how you cut to a selected card with a stripper deck."
